THE MOON
चान - “chan” in Warli Tribe
Material: Rice Powder X Water
I born in Warli Tribe in a small village. And I grow up with the stories of spirits, Ghosts, God & Goddess, creatures, trees, jungles, sun, and the MOON.
These stories teach us to imagine how magical this universe is. Shows us the way to live.
There is a very mysterious myth in Warli.
“ On the Moon there one sheep and one big tree without any leaves. But once in a year, there a single leave grow on that tree. And that sheep are living there for a long time by eating that single leave”
It’s just a saying by Warli tribe and there are many more stories in this world.
Many stories depict life on the moon.
The Moon
The Stars
We have drowned shapes in the dark sky,
Shapes of creatures,
The constellations.
“CHAN” has close relationships with the Mother Earth. It’s a stone, there is also soil on it. And until now everything is born on this planet is from the soil, with the help of other elements. Those elements have not born yet on the moon.
